General Privacy
The Partnership for Working Families (Partnership) is the sole owner of this website. In several places we request information about you--for example, when you sign up to “Get Involved” or “Contact Us” through the website. In these cases you will be asked for certain personal information such as your name, address, phone, and email address. The Partnership will not share or sell your name or personal information with any outside organizations that are not affiliated with the Partnership.

From time to time the Partnership may promote events or action campaigns that are co-sponsored with other non-profit organizations. If you respond to a communication from a co-sponsored event and provide contact information, your information may be shared among the primary co-sponsoring organizations.

Communication
Based on the preferences you indicate when you enter your contact information, the Partnership will contact you about issues or events. All email communications from the Partnership include an “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the email, which allows you to opt out of receiving future messages. Tell-a-Friend
If you choose to use our referral service to tell a friend about a Partnership request to Take Action, we will ask you for your friend’s name and email address. We will automatically send your friend an email inviting him or her to visit the site and/or take action.

Financial Transactions
If you make a contribution or purchase tickets to an event through our website, you will also be asked for financial information such as a credit card number and expiration date. The Partnership’s donation pages are operated by a vendor that has represented to us that it uses secure web technology to ensure that your transaction is safe. Your credit card information will not be retained by the Partnership unless you have authorized a recurring contribution.
